After knowing this, the duo (Ankita and Sushant) were shocked and horrified. They went to the Balaji production team and asked them to undo the marriage. Well now, whose version is more close to truth is not clear, as all three have their own say on the matter. But it would be quite interesting to see if Archana and Manav are termed married in real with their reel shaadi.

Samajwadi Party names Sanjay Dutt its new general secretary

New Delhi, Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt may be unable to contest elections but Thursday got a firm foothold in the world of politics when he became general secretary of the Samajwadi Party."I am very happy that party leader Mulayam Singhji and other seniors chose me to become the party's national general secretary," Dutt told reporters at a press conference. "Mein dil se kam karoonga aur sach ke liye kam karoonga (I will work with my heart and for the truth)." Dutt had been given a ticket by the Samajwadi Party to contest the Lok Sabha election from Lucknow but could not do so after the Supreme Court Tuesday refused to suspend his conviction for owning illegal arms in the run-up to the 1993 serial bombings in Mumbai. He lashed out at the Congress for ill-treating his father, the late actor and central minister Sunil Dutt. "My father was very unhappy when the Congress took in Sanjay Nirupam (the Shiv Sena leader in Mumbai who joined the Congress). They have now given Nirupam a ticket - the same guy who had made such derogatory remarks about Sunil Dutt sahib and the Congress when he was with the Shiv Sena. My father would have been hurt and saddened," Dutt said. He said when he had stood by his sister Priya Dutt, a Congress parliamentarian, it was "as a brother, not a politician". "At the time I was rooting for her as her brother not as a politician... times have changed."

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor will sport a dress worth Rs.800,000 for a song in "Kambakkht Ishq". Producer Sajid Nadiadwala had specially ordered it for the actress from Paris.
"When the song was completed and the whole crew had a look, it looked very beautiful and eye catching. But most importantly everyone's eyes were stuck at seeing Kareena's dress. Kareena was looking gorgeous. The dress cost Rs.800,000," said a source close to the producer.

The filmmaker has also gifted the dress to Kareena as she looked really pretty wearing it.

"Sajid Nadiadwala is a wonderful person at heart. He always makes sure that his cast and crew is happy. Kareena was happy after receiving such an extra-ordinary gift from Sajid bhai. She was short of words to express her feeling after she received the gift." added the source.

They did a couple of takes but the scooter seemed to not be in her grip, and as a result both she and Shahid went down with a thud on the mucky road. Neither of them was hurt, as the speed of the scooter was slow. Amazingly enough, the next take of the shot was Ok. Shahid still teases Priyanka about his fall, as this is the only time in his life that he had ever fallen off a scooter.
